For 50 years Ronhill have been pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in running gear, and their friends at Mountain Equipment have been obsessively crafting protective clothing for the world’s most extreme environments.
Everything they know about running, and all Mountain Equipment know about protection, has been carefully and collaboratively designed into this Tech Gore-tex Jacket; the ultimate waterproof and breathable running outer layer.
It’s incredibly lightweight, quick-drying and breathable, but this doesn’t come at the expense of protection. Crucially – the membrane sits on the outside of the fabric, so even the heaviest of rain simply beads off. So no face fabric to ‘wet out’, add bulk and decrease breathability.
Serious innovation providing serious mile-after-mile comfort, even in serious weather. When the storm really comes in, the adjustable hood will help to keep you going, and one simple, secure pocket will keep your essentials safe.

He started running in the 1950s, discovering running was something he could do on his terms. Running was independence, pure freedom. Running 100 miles a week, you start to realise where the weak spots are. And for Ron, it was the clothes. So, Ronhill made them. Developing new designs, creating innovative textiles, and collaborating with brands like Reebok and Nike.
