General

The Women's Elia Helmet by Petzl was designed and developed to respond specifically to the needs of women. The innovative OMEGA headband system (Petzl patent) allows the helmet to be put on and removed easily and offers maximum comfort and ponytail compatability. In addition to this feature, the helmet has a headband and webbing adjustment mechanism which allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted for different head shapes.

  • Specifically sized for women (50-58 cm headband)
  • Patented OMEGA system is compatible with ponytails, height is adjustable by incremements
  • Headband can be adjusted with two lateral buttons to obtain precise and comfortable positioning of the OMEGA system
  • System allows adjustment of Y-shaped webbing straps around ears
  • Chinstrap buckle is easy to adjust and positioned to the side and away from chin
  • Side openings for ventilation
  • Injection molded ABS shell is both lightweight and durable
  • Expanded polystyrene liner absorbs impacts
  • Narrow polyester webbing straps offer improved comfort
  • Headlamp attachment with four optimally placed clips
  • Foam is removable and washable
  • Headband adjustment folds into the shell for compact storage and ease of transportation
