Because you can’t not stop when you see punchy, waist-high peaks at the side of the road. Made from a durable, fast-drying 96% nylon, 4% spandex blend with a DWR finish and 40-UPF sun protection, Patagonia's Stretch Wavefarer Walk Shorts feature water-friendly comfort and performance with a walk-short cut.

Classic flat-front chino styling with belt loops makes them appropriate for all-day wear, while a bartacked interior drawstring keeps the shorts secure when you pull over for a quick bodysurf on your way home from work.

A flat-lying rubber button fly and closure provide comfort in any situation. The two front slash pockets and two rear pockets have self-draining mesh pocket bags; the right rear pocket is buttoned, has an internal key loop and is Surf Dry Bag-compatible.

Patagonia’s mission: We’re in business to save our home planet.

Patagonia appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction. We aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations—to do something about it.

Patagonia grew out of a small company that originally made tools for climbers. Today alpinism remains at the heart of a business that still makes clothes for climbing as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running.

At Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet we donate our time, services and 1% of our sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide.
