General
An outstanding and versatile all-round mountaineering pack that's ideal for the biggest days. Mountain Equipment's M-series polyamide fabrics are extremely water and abrasion resistant, using a super water resistant coating and PU backer. EVA moulded shoulder straps creates a comfortable fit for heavy loads even without EVA hip-pads, and the thermoformed back panel, alongside the HDPE framesheet, provide exceptional rigidity and structure.
The floating lid and dual-drawcord closure allows you to maximise the carrying capability of the Fang and a large accessory pocket with a valuables pocket within the lid, are secured with an exposed zip to prevent snagging. The lid has an accessory pocket with an exposed zip to prevent snagging, with an internal valuable pocket. Various external attachment points allow the carrying of ice-axes, rope with the removable rope strap, and webbing and side compression straps expand the storage options.
