The Men's Hiker II Stretch Short Sleeve Shirt from Ayacucho is a comfortable men’s shirt with short sleeves and a checked pattern. Protect yourself against insects, harmful UV radiation, dirt and unpleasant odours. And choose optimum comfort, whether you are clambering up a steep mountain path, with a heavy rucksack on your back or on a short walk.
This Ayacucho shirt is made of a cotton and bamboo mix. In the past, bamboo was mostly used to make utensils; however, in recent years, a series of technologies have been developed that allow bamboo to be used as a textile in clothing. Bamboo fibre is lightweight and very comfortable to wear, particularly when combined with cotton.
The HHL treatment the Hiker fabric has undergone means it stays fresh for longer and minimises odours. Its UPF 50+ rating guarantees outstanding UV protection. It also offers excellent protection against insects such as mosquitoes and ticks. The moisture-regulating properties of this Ayacucho shirt ensure it stays comfortably dry when conditions are warm. There is an extra mesh ventilation panel on the back. If it really gets too warm, you can roll up the sleeves and fasten them in place with buttons.
And, after a long day of adventures, you can just quickly wash out your Ayacucho Hiker. The material dries so quickly it will be ready to wear again by the next morning. The shirt has a chest pocket with a zip fastening.
